Our
products
As
you may have noticed in recent years, the variety of eggs available
on the market has grown. There's a simple explanation:
tastes change so eggs must keep up. But don't worry. Nutri-oeuf
specialty eggs have not been chemically or artificially
modified. Only the feed changes. So try our Nutri-oeuf specialty
eggs and enjoy 100% natural taste.

Organic
eggs
Our
organic eggs are certified by O.C.I.A. Quebec and are produced by
happy hens that do not live in cages. They enjoy the freedom of
open air enclosures and natural daylight. They also have access
to an outside park. They are fed organically-certified grain that
is produced without herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, or chemical
fertilizers. Fresh eggs are gathered every day by hand. This makes
for a better relationship between the flock and humans.

Omega-3
eggs
Omega-3 eggs are laid by hens fed on flax seed which is a natural
source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acid prevents heart
disease and can contribute to the brain development of infants.
Light
eggs
Light eggs are laid by young hens who are fed a special diet. Their
eggs have 25% less cholesterol and 25% less saturated fat than regular
eggs.
Select
eggs
These
eggs are laid by hens which are fed only grain. No fish or meat
meal is used. Their diet contains only corn, soya, oats, and natural
supplements.

Free
range hens
Even
if hens raised in cages enjoy a pleasant environment, some consumers
want these animals to enjoy even greater freedom. So we can offer
free range eggs. The hens move freely inside an open air enclosure
with nests and perches.

Double
yolks
Sometimes
young hens lay eggs with double yolks. Such eggs are not produced
through any special process. Through our new grading procedures,
we can detect such eggs and offer them in specially marked packaging.

Brown
eggs
The
difference between brown and white eggs lies in the breed of hen
that lays them. The nutritional value is the same whatever the color.
You may notice that brown eggs have a thicker shell and a darker
yolk. Did you know that Europeans prefer brown eggs?

Ultra jumbo eggs
These
eggs are the largest available on the market. They weigh at least
70g.

Very small eggs
At
the beginning of their laying life, young hens lay very small eggs.
These eggs weigh no more than 42 g. This explains why this type
of egg is not always available on the supermarket shelf.
A variety of packaging
Nutri-oeuf
eggs come in a wide variety. But we also offer a wide variety of
packaging. We have the 18-egg carton (or family pack), the 6-egg
carton (in white, brown, and Omega-3), the 8-egg carton (in white
and organic), and the 30 egg carton. All varieties are offered in
cartons of 12.
